This Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training will be a fully virtual training. Pre-registration is required.
To Sign Up: Please fill out the form below and click “submit” to sign up for the training. This training will be on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 8:30 AM-5 PM. There will be a break for lunch (time to be demined at the training).
Costs for the Course: The cost for the course is free to Jackson and Hillsdale county residents due to sponsorship by LifeWays.
About Mental Health First Aid: Mental Health First Aid is an international, evidence-based, educational program proven to be effective in teaching adults how to recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis. Upon graduation from the course you will be provided with a certificate and become a Mental Health First Aider.

They’re First Ladies and Mayors. Mental Health First Aiders are anyone who wants to make their community healthier, happier and safer for all.
